A Memory about Molly....

....from Vanessa Christenson (a Kennington cousin):

Before Molly moved, we were in class together in 2nd grade at Cairo Elementary in Ontario, Oregon. Of course we would play together during recess.

It was the Friday of the first week, and, well, after playing with her SOOOO MUCH that week, I needed a little space to play with other friends too (remember, this was the only year she was there, so she wasn't friends with my friends...).

So during a recess I ran off, and she kept chasing me! And chasing me and chasing me and chasing me! I thought it was funny, but she got mad!

"Why did you run away?" Molly asked.

I remember feeling so bad that I had hurt her feelings because, of course I loved her. Luckily, she forgave me (I'm pretty sure, anyway), and we played together that whole year, and remain good friends. Congrats Molly! You look very happy!

....from Cyndi Bennett (a Garner cousin):

Mollywog (as we all knew her by in Nyssa) has always been loads of fun. I'll never forget the years that she and her siblings would come to Nyssa to stay with Grandpa and Grandma. They would come down and help us feed calves, then we'd play.

I remember we'd all jump on the trampoline and play "crack the egg" or "alligator". Whenever someone got hurt, Amy would pound on whoever caused the pain, and Molly, with the help of Adam singing some weird song, would cheer the crying kid up. Molly always had that magic.

Molls- Congrats chicka! I'm way super excited for you!! Amir, take good care of her...she's lotsa special.
