My mom is so smart! I am amazed at how much she knows. But she is also humble, and everyone knows her pride and joy is her family. She puts us before everything. That made growing up a wonderful experience for me, to know that my mom was always there when I needed her. The worst feeling in the world for me is to disappoint her, because I know she expects us to do well since we have been given so much. She is the most non-judgemental person I know, but she stands up for what she feels is right.

I remember when I was a senior in high school, one day I got so sick the lady in the office called mom to pick me up. For the next 15 minutes the only thing I could think of was seeing my mom walk through the door -- then somehow everything would be all better! And of course it was! My mom is amazing!
