Free Resizing Software

Easy Thumbnails - A great little program that resizes any one or more pictures into whatever size and format you choose. It renames the new files and saves the original as well. Especially useful for resizing larger images into smaller images for emailing. You can also use a right-click option and make an instant thumbnail of any image you are currently viewing.

Photo Gadget - image resizer. Install the program, then right-click any image you want to resize and it will do the rest. Slick and easy to use.

Irfan Viewer (download free at http://www.irfanview.com/main_download_engl.htm) allows you to easily resize by going to: Image/Resize/Resample and filling in the dimensions you want it resized to. Remember to save the picture with a different name than your original!

Faststone Image Resizer Faststone has separated its resizer from its organizer and offers iti as separate freeware.

Image Resizer Power Toy - No one likes receiving a giant digital image via email. This freeware Microsoft power toy will allow you to resize any image via a drop-down menu when you right-click with your mouse. You can find the download link along the right side of the page.
