Vignette
1. Begin with a picture. If you want a color underneath the vignette besides default black or white, create a new layer, drag it under the original image layer and fill with your favorite color. |

2. Use the Marquee tool make a selection at least ½ inch inside the border of the picture. You can use a square or elliptical marquee. Leave enough room for the blurring effect around the picture. |

3. Go to Select>Feather and use the following settings: |

4. Now hit CTRL+SHIFT+I to invert the selection. (Or Select/Inverse) Hit DELETE |
